I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us — don't tell!
They'd banish us, you know.
How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!
Emily Dickinson

This was my favorite poem when I was a little girl. And this is how I felt- invisible and unnoticed.
Some time ago I happened upon a recording that was made of me reciting those words and it brought back a rush of feelings that I had experienced as a child.
I started my card project in the hopes that no person would feel forgotten.
Here I am many years ago. I loved it whenever someone took the time to do something special just for me.

I am no longer the sad little girl I once was. These six people, all grown up now, Make me feel loved and needed. And they've given me 12 awesome grandchildren!
